Job Summary
Operate a flatbed truck and load/unload storage containers for local deliveries to customers' homes and businesses. Transport U-Box containers to specified destinations using a flatbed truck, forklift, or truck-mounted forklift with training provided. Maintain a clean driving record and participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University. Requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Department of Transportation certification. Full-time role with moderate physical exertion and safety precautions around moving parts and fumes. U-Haul has served DIY movers since 1945, offering career stability and a culture of health and wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Clean motor vehicle driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Department of Transportation certification
- Commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
