Job Summary
Operate a flatbed truck and forklift to load and unload storage containers for local deliveries to customers' homes and businesses. Transport U-Box containers to specified destinations while maintaining friendly and courteous service. Maintain a clean motor vehicle driving record and complete ongoing education through U-Haul University. This role requires a Commercial driver's license (CDL) and DOT certification, with training provided for vehicle and equipment operation.
Required Qualifications
- Clean motor vehicle driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Department of Transportation certification
- Commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Must be 18 or older
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs assisted or unassisted
- Must be able to operate a flatbed truck
- Must be able to operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift
- Must not use nicotine products
