Tzotzil Interpreter

Job Summary
Provide in-person interpretation at client sites to facilitate communication between minors and care staff in foster care or medical care settings. Deliver translation/interpretation services between English and Tzotzil, maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics, and help orient minors to community resources. Serve as a liaison to staff, support staff with cultural context, and assist with special projects. Role is temporary, full-time with potential travel to client sites across the United States; strong verbal interpretation and translation skills required; ILR 2+ proficiency in English and Tzotzil; valid driver\'s license; may require Public Trust clearance; 24/7 availability may be needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have working proficiency in English and Tzotzil (ILR 2+)
- Must have a valid driver\'s license
- This position is open only to individuals authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

- This position may require obtaining a T2 Public Trust clearance
