Job Summary
General Production Labor role in Tyson Foods' Wilkesboro Fresh Plant. Provides hands-on support to production operations by performing a variety of manual and production-related tasks as assigned to support processing, packaging, and material handling, while maintaining continuous product flow and ensuring quality. Responsibilities include assisting with setup and changeovers, monitoring product quality and reporting concerns, following SOPs and supervisor instructions, maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas, handling waste and recyclables, and adhering to food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements. Must wear PPE and work in temperature-controlled environments (cold, wet, or humid conditions). Strong attention to safety, ability to follow written/verbal instructions, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are essential. The shift is 2nd shift (approximately 7:15 AM to 4:15 PM) with benefits starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience: Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred
- Must be able to perform physical requirements, safety policies, and adhere to PPE requirements
