Job Summary
Hang product on a moving halving line by grasbing items from a recirculation conveyor at waist height and placing them into a moving shackle line at chest height. Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations while maintaining continuous product flow and preventing downtime. Assist with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as required, and monitor product for quality defects to report concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, remove waste according to plant procedures, and follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements. Work in a fresh food manufacturing environment with raw, in-process, or packaged product, adhering to strict safety policies and wearing required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be available to work assigned shifts
- Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production needs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to work in cold, wet, or humid conditions typical of a fresh plant environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing or fresh plant operations a plus
