Job Summary
Report to production management at the start of each shift and await job assignment for various labor and operator duties throughout the First Processing area. Perform roles such as spice attendant, janitor, stacker, or metal detector operator, keeping evisceration floors clean, sanitizing tools, and clearing tables. Fill in daily staffing needs as assigned and complete Tyson paperwork accurately while following all safety, quality, and production standards. Communicate with supervisors and team members in person and via radio.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively
- Minimum of (3) months operator experience within the last 12 months
- Experience may be from a combination of employers if it totals at least 3 months
- This must be documented within your application or uploaded resume to be considered for an interview
- Must be able to perform all jobs in the First Processing area
- Must be capable of operating machinery, tools, and equipment as required
- Must be able to complete Tyson paperwork accurately
- Must be able to communicate with plant management, supervisors, and other team members in person and via radio
- Must be able to follow safety, quality, and production standards
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to perform other duties as tasked by administration
- Must be safe and observe all of Tyson's policies and procedures
- Must be available for 1st shift
