Job Summary
Industrial Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Technician on 3rd shift in Anniston, AL. Responsible for electrical and electronic maintenance and repair of plant equipment, reading schematics/blueprints, installing and testing wiring and components, ensuring NEC compliance, documenting work, and maintaining safety and ISO standards. Requires an associate degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance or two years of related experience; must read schematics; basic computer skills; ability to pass a hands-on test; and maintain an electrician’s license/ID.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance or two years of related industrial electrical experience
- Must be able to read electrical schematics
- Must maintain electrician’s license or identification card
- Able to pass hands-on test and have basic computer skills
- Able to work 3rd shift and perform electrical maintenance on plant equipment
- Comply with NEC and safety standards
- Experience with testing equipment (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes)
- Knowledge of electrical codes and blueprints
- Ability to plan layout and installation of wiring
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Background checks and drug screen required
