Job Summary
Lead Teacher in a center-based program dedicated to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Lead, coach, and mentor fellow teachers; manage a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment; implement the LEAP Curriculum to support growth and development; foster communication with parents about children’s milestones via apps and discussions; collaborate with center staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals; build positive relationships with families and coworkers to create a dynamic play-and-learn environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of professional teaching experience
- Six months of professional teaching experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- High school diploma/GED required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role
