Job Summary
Twos Lead Teacher responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for two-year-olds, implementing the LEAP Curriculum with creativity, supporting language development and social-emotional growth, and guiding toddlers through early milestones including potty training. Duties include maintaining classroom management and structure, completing daily lesson plans and developmental observations, communicating with families via a mobile app and in person, and ensuring compliance with Oklahoma DHS licensing requirements. This role requires leadership, collaboration with support staff and families, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- CDA, Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field (preferred)
- Experience working with toddlers (1 year preferred; 6 months required)
- Ability to meet all Oklahoma DHS licensing requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with young children throughout the day
