Job Summary
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for two-year-old children while fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress, maintaining a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate space. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and growth, and follow all state licensing regulations and childcare health and safety protocols. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support overall program goals. Requires high school diploma or GED, prior toddler experience, and current CPR and First Aid certification. Located in Rock Hill, SC, with health, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of toddler developmental milestones and age-appropriate teaching strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to meet the physical demands of working with two-year-olds, including lifting and active engagement
- Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Patient, energetic, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for early childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- CDA, associate's, or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
