Job Summary
Assist Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and fostering children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, inviting learning environment. Supervise and provide individualized support, facilitate positive interactions, and communicate with families about children's progress and daily activities. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment; support daily care routines and contribute to a nurturing, growth-oriented classroom. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Previous experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Empathy and compassion for young children
- Ability to work productively without supervision
- Basic understanding of child development
- Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in relation to children
