Job Summary
Two Interns: Robotics Software Engineer Interns will assist in developing and testing software modules supporting robotic inspection workflows, support integration of vision systems, sensors, and robotic components, participate in system testing, validation, and performance evaluation efforts, help document system behavior, configurations, and test results, contribute to debugging and troubleshooting, assist in prototyping and refining automation workflows for mailroom screening, observe and support field-oriented concepts such as calibration, deployment readiness, and system configuration, and learn to work across software, hardware, and system integration layers.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field preferably at least in a junior level
- Programming experience in Python and/or C++
- Basic understanding of software development fundamentals
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Willingness to work across software, hardware, and system integration layers
- Strong communication and documentation skills
