Job Summary
Twister Operator responsible for setting up, operating, and tending multiple machines organized into a frame that twist yarn. Duties include creel loading, loading yarn into twister, repositioning buggies, threading ends, operating the spindle, and repairing breakouts during production runs. Doff twisted yarn packages to conveyors, monitor production output, and ensure safe and efficient operation. Clean and dechoke spindles, perform quality checks using black lights, attend required training, follow SOPs and company policies, and perform general housekeeping. Requires basic math, attention to detail, ability to read spec sheets, and ability to work in a team in an industrial environment. May involve lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to chemicals, noise, dust, and variable temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of all required on the job training
- Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
- Previous Yarn or Manufacturing experience is preferred
