Job Summary
TVFC Policy Coordinator is a senior-level, in-office policy and program specialist role within the Immunization Unit. The position develops and implements guidelines, policies, and procedures for the TVFC program, analyzes federal and state policy options, and prepares policy recommendations. It requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including regional and local health departments, to support TVFC program goals. Core duties include coordinating policy development and evaluation, supporting provider recruitment, enrollment, and training, producing and presenting content to providers and health departments, and serving as a liaison for program evaluation. The role emphasizes data synthesis, policy analysis, effective written and oral communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with up to 20% travel and a mandatory initial two months in-office before potential telework.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required with major course work in public health, social services, policy, biology, or a related field.
- One year of full-time relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience in public health, health promotion and education, health policy, or immunizations.
- Experience in developing written materials.
- Experience researching, interpreting and analyzing data and policies.
