Job Summary
StudyPoint is seeking part-time SAT/ACT tutors to work with students in their homes and online, primarily in the Chicago area. Tutors will deliver one-on-one instruction using the provided curriculum, customize lessons to improve student outcomes, and maintain a positive, safe learning environment. Responsibilities include tutoring ALL sections of SAT/ACT (verbal and math), covering evenings after school and weekend hours, traveling to student homes, communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff, and designing engaging lessons. Qualifications include at least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience, a Bachelor’s degree, strong academic background, ability to tutor all sections of SAT/ACT, and reliable car access for travel. The role offers schedule flexibility with the option to design your service area and does not restrict tutoring with other organizations. StudyPoint is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or tutoring experience
- strong academic background
- confidence tutoring ALL sections of the SAT/ACT including both verbal and math sections
- reliable car access to travel to students’ homes
