Tutor

Tutor role supporting after-school programs at PUC Schools in Northeast Los Angeles. Responsibilities include facilitating small group instruction and providing one-on-one homework support, implementing program curriculum for intervention and enrichment, supervising students in and outside the classroom, fostering a positive learning environment, coordinating enrichment activities (clubs and sports), preparing instructional/display materials, assisting with snacks, maintaining attendance and incident records, reporting concerns to coordinators/administrators, participating in professional development, building positive relations with students and groups, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires an AA or higher (HS degree also acceptable), experience with students, strong communication, bilingual Spanish preferred, proficient with Microsoft Suite, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Part-time, hourly position with benefits including California Sick Time and ongoing professional development.
