Job Summary
Supports Pre-K through 12 students across language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and foreign languages; assists with independent studies, performance tracking, and culturally enriched curricula; Plans and delivers lectures/workshops on academic subjects and citizenship; Supports events like Fall Festival, graduation, and Summer Academy; Creates instructional materials; May require gaming-license screening and driving responsibilities; Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills; Must be able to work in a climate-controlled office, travel for events, and operate a computer and office equipment; Small- to moderate-intensity physical activities and occasional evening/weekend shifts are possible.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Minimum two (2) years of related tutoring experience preferred
- Experience in tutoring or education enrichment is preferred
- Must be willing and capable of learning the Serrano language
- Authorized Driver: valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Live-Scan fingerprinting and TB testing may be required
- Teaching credentials are preferred
