Job Summary
Provide targeted learning interventions in assigned core subject areas to accelerate student growth; develop and implement district-aligned lesson plans reflecting accommodations for varied student needs; assess learning styles and student achievement; collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs; plan instructional goals with staff to meet district requirements; supervise instructional aides/volunteers; maintain professional communication with parents and colleagues; participate in staff development and adhere to district policies; classroom management and safeguarding student well-being in a part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Fluency in foreign language for LOTE teachers
- One year student teaching or approved internship
