Job Summary
Provide one-on-one academic tutoring in math, reading, science, and test preparation for students in Chandler, Gilbert, Ahwatukee, Tempe, Mesa, and Phoenix. Deliver personalized instruction either in-home or online while managing your own schedule. You will build long-term relationships with students and adapt teaching styles to diverse learning needs, supported by a local team that handles all administrative logistics, billing, and client acquisition. Earn competitive hourly rates up to $40 plus performance bonuses tied to student satisfaction and reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or working with students
- Strong knowledge in one or more academic subjects
- Current college enrollment or a completed college degree
- Experience as a teacher, education professional or subject-matter expert
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles
- Reliability, professionalism and consistent follow-through
- Reliable transportation for in-home assignments
