Job Summary
Deliver high-quality Fine Arts Studies lectures, critiques, and project mentoring aligned with CAA standards and Istituto Marangoni methodology. Design and lead learning that includes autonomous museum and gallery visits, guest-led sessions, and exhibition-based study. Prepare teaching materials, briefs, and course documentation while providing formative and summative assessments with constructive feedback. Guide students in developing visual literacy, critical vocabulary, and cultural awareness through mentorship and critique, adapting to a heterogeneous cohort of early-stage learners. Collaborate with external professionals, cultural institutions, and art events to connect course content to the living UAE art ecosystem. Contribute to programme development and participate in school projects, reviews, and exhibitions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Curatorial Studies, or a related discipline
- Active engagement in the art field — as a practising artist, curator, critic, educator-practitioner, or arts professional — evidenced by exhibitions, curatorial or critical work, publications, or an equivalent portfolio of practice
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional or academic experience in the field
- Previous teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical-thinking ability
- Education Qualification Equivalency from the Ministry of Education in the UAE (or willingness to obtain)

- Strong knowledge of, and connection to, the UAE's art and cultural institutions
- Experience teaching younger or early-stage student cohorts, with a thoughtful pedagogical approach
- UAE residency
