Job Summary
Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in all subject areas using online classes, virtual platforms, and collected class notes. Tutor students in literacy, technology, and course access while delivering basic technical support for online setup. Evaluate student binders, calendars, and notes to determine concepts requiring re-teaching, then conduct mini lessons, brainstorming sessions, and peer critique groups. Administer discipline per board policies, contact teachers and parents via company technology, and communicate student progress to instructors. Maintain control of learning environments, review course schedules, assist in testing, and perform assigned administrative duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Two years of college (48 units)
- Associate degree (or higher)
- Related tutorial and mentoring experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in subject matter competency
- Proficient level of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology applications
- Ability to travel in performance of job duties
