Job Summary
Deliver engaging practical and theoretical classes in Creative Fashion Illustration, teaching both traditional and digital techniques to develop students' visual communication skills. Guide learners through figure drawing, garment rendering, and storytelling while supporting manual drawing with media like pencil, ink, and watercolour. Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and assessment in line with programme learning outcomes, collaborating with the Fashion Design Department Programme leader to maintain high academic standards. Submit a CV, professional portfolio, and cover letter outlining relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Fashion Illustration, Fashion Design, Fine Art, Visual Communication, or a closely related discipline
- Professional industry experience in fashion illustration, fashion design, or creative visual communication
- Outstanding manual drawing and fashion illustration skills
- Advanced proficiency in Procreate and strong knowledge of digital illustration workflows
- Excellent understanding of fashion proportions, anatomy, garment rendering, colour theory, composition, and visual storytelling
- A professional portfolio demonstrating excellence in both traditional and digital fashion illustration
Desired Qualifications
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience in higher education
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
