Job Summary
Conduct ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, assisting teachers in modifying instructional methods to fit individual needs, including students with special needs. Develop, coordinate, and support students with academic assignments while serving as a resource for teaching staff to improve academic success. Document teaching activities, create lesson plans, and model necessary skills to perform assignments. Maintain familiarity with CEC and Colorado standardized tests to adapt curriculum and maximize student achievement. Provide direction, consultation, and coordination to ensure comprehensive curriculum and instruction across various topics.
Required Qualifications
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment
- verify, within 72 hours of employment, his/her legal right to be employed in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred
