Job Summary
Create and maintain AP100 programs for Amada NC turret punches and fiber laser cutting equipment. Develop setup sheets and organized program libraries to support efficient machine operation. Collaborate with production planning to create optimized nested programs that maximize material utilization and production efficiency. Test, troubleshoot, and improve programs while recommending process, tooling, and design enhancements. Requires minimum 5 years of NC programming experience for turret punch presses and laser cutting machines within a sheet metal fabrication environment. Proficiency with SolidWorks and SAP ERP software is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of NC programming experience for turret punch presses and laser cutting machines within a sheet metal fabrication environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, shop math, and mechanical principles
- Experience using ERP systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
- High School Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAP ERP software
- Proficiency with SolidWorks
