Job Summary

Operate the Turret Punch and other production machinery to assemble parts and bend, punch, or shear metal products according to supervisor instructions and mechanical drawings. Set up tooling, load programs, and adjust machine parameters to ensure optimal performance while clearing jams as needed. Assemble items and lift raw materials or finished goods up to 60 pounds, either manually or using a lift truck, while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, requiring the ability to multitask and follow written or verbal directions. Requires 2+ years of experience operating turret punches and a solid background in sheet metal work.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of experience operating and programming the turret punch
  • Solid background working with sheet metal
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
  • Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds
  • Must be able to clear jams from machine
