Job Summary
Operate production machinery including electrowinning cells, smelting furnaces, and carbon filters to maximize output while maintaining safe and efficient processing circuits. Collect samples for metallurgical accounting, prepare gold bullion for shipment, and open or secure the vault. Maintain accurate records for process control, attach lockout devices during maintenance, and respond to emergencies that could cause injury or production loss. Work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule of nights and days, communicating daily operations with the refinery supervisor.
