Job Summary
Manage all aspects of multi-million dollar construction projects from initiation to close-out, overseeing scheduling, budgets, permits, safety plans, and quality standards. Directly supervise lower-tier project superintendents and select multiple subcontractors and suppliers to execute diverse trade work and general construction systems. Coordinate with contractors, building owners, and internal teams to discuss scope, budgets, and performance while maintaining accurate status reports and customer satisfaction. Handle project cash-flow management, including progress billing and collections support, to ensure on-time and on-budget completion. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management with three years of industry experience, valid driver's license, and ability to travel to customer job sites within a 2-5 hour radius.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction Industry or related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage time in a disciplined, productive manner
- Maintains highest levels of ethics, trust, and personal responsibility
- Must have a general working knowledge of basic engineering
- Must have a general working knowledge of electricity
- Must have a general working knowledge of mechanical HVAC systems
- Must have a general working knowledge of the building construction industry
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years
- No Hit & Run in the previous 3 years
- No License Suspension in the previous 3 years
- No Reckless / Careless Driving in the previous 3 years
- No multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
- Travel to customer job sites is required (2-5 hour radius & overnights as assigned projects require)
- Ability to work in outdoor work
- Ability to work in mechanical/equipment rooms
- Ability to be exposed to variable weather conditions
- Ability to be exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Ability to be exposed to heights
- Ability to be exposed to other variable environmental conditions based on location
- Must pass additional drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 minimum
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Familiarity with financially guaranteed contracts
- Familiarity with the operation of energy management systems
- Familiarity with HVAC systems
- Familiarity with temperature controls
- Familiarity with process control systems
- Preferred candidate would have OSHA 10 minimum and OSHA 30 preferred
