Job Summary
Assist the Upgrading and Utilities Engineering Team in Turnaround Planning support by managing scope processes within the Scope Management Module. Design, develop, and optimize MS Access databases, including forms, queries, reports, and macros, while automating workflows with VBA and SQL. Troubleshoot database performance issues and maintain data integrity through rigorous testing and documentation. Manage complex data sets using advanced Excel formulas, Power Query, and DAX to generate accurate reports and dashboards. Collaborate with stakeholders to document processes and provide training on database usage.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, or within one year of graduation
- Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science or Data Science
- Strong programming fundamentals with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and environments quickly
- Solid understanding of SQL for writing, modifying, and troubleshooting complex queries
- Strong mindset with an attention to detail, logical problem-solving, ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
