Job Summary
The Turnaround Planner at Chemours will manage the planning, scheduling, and coordination of plant turnaround activities, focusing on safety and efficiency. Requires 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in both Microsoft and SAP. Relocation assistance is not available, and H1B sponsorship is not supported.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, with proven familiarity with fixed equipment and piping systems
- Self-motivated and proactive – requiring minimum supervision
- Strong understanding of operational discipline
- Good organization and administrative skills
- Proficient with Microsoft
- Possess or able and willing to develop expert level skills in use of SAP
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization
- Interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to sequence job activities and maintain records
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Ability to operate mobile equipment such as forklift and aerial lift
- Able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Regularly lifts or moves objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years turnaround planning experience in an industrial manufacturing facility
- Mechanical and/or construction background with experience in industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to learn new skills and work methods, acquire area process knowledge and procedures
