Job Summary
Conduct weekly one-hour visits with an elderly lady to share conversation, discuss life's events, and enjoy friendly companionship over topics like television programs and daily stories. Listen attentively to her experiences while providing valuable social connection to reduce isolation and brighten her week. This role involves flexible scheduling between 9am and 4pm, Monday through Sunday, with visits lasting 30 minutes to an hour. HammondCare is an independent Christian charity dedicated to improving quality of life for people in need through its Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check
