Job Summary
Turn Team Member (temporary/seasonal) supports student housing turns by performing furniture installation, groundskeeping, housekeeping, and move-in day assistance, as well as maintenance-related tasks. Responsibilities include unloading, delivering, installing, and cleaning up furniture; groundskeeping such as trash cleanup and landscaping; housekeeping duties like sweeping, mopping, cleaning offices and bathrooms, and carpet shampooing; assisting residents during move-in day; supporting maintenance with tasks like changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, smoke detector batteries, and minor repairs; must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate basic tools; you will interact directly with residents and report incidents to the Community Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate smaller tools like allen wrenches
- Ability to assist with furniture installation, delivery, and cleanup
- Experience or ability to perform groundskeeping such as mowing, edging, trimming bushes, planting flowers
- Experience with housekeeping tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning offices/bathrooms, carpet shampooing
- Ability to interact with residents in a friendly and respectful manner
- Ability to assist maintenance with punch lists and basic repairs
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use provided safety equipment
