Job Summary
The Turf Service Technician performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and dealer-owned small engine equipment. Key responsibilities include servicing all makes of turf equipment, participating in training programs, maintaining technical knowledge of products, keeping the service vehicle and tools in good condition, and following safety regulations. Required skills include mechanical troubleshooting, proficiency in using service advisories, and strong communication abilities. Qualifications include 1+ years of service repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
- Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Valid drivers license is required
Desired Qualifications
- Basic Service Technician certification preferred
- Associates degree preferred
- Fork lift license preferred
