Job Summary
Turbine Technician responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and inspection of aero-derivative gas turbine engines and components. Duties include routing engine hardware, conducting inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications, documenting discrepancies and maintaining records per QMS, troubleshooting in-process problems, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools, adhering to safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement. Requires at least a High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years in gas turbine or aircraft engine services, strong English communication, ability to lift 40 lbs, proficiency with torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators, transducers, and ability to read service manuals; A&P certification is a desirable characteristic. This is a full-time role with first-shift hours, located in Houston, TX (US) with no relocation assistance provided. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience on Gas Turbine or Aircraft Engine Services
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Proficiency in using hand tools including torque wrenches, transducers, dial indicators, micrometers, and other precision instruments
- Ability to read and interpret service repair manuals and technical publications
- Basic computer skills
