Job Summary
Dismantle, assemble, move, and align heavy rotating machinery and industrial service equipment using hoists, cranes, and precision measuring tools. Read blueprints and technical documentation to determine proper work procedures for installing and maintaining power generation applications. Perform machining, welding, and material inspections while managing shipping, receiving, and inventory control for tools and supplies. Load, transport, and unload materials to support mechanical and electrical maintenance as required by field assignments. Manage time-sensitive tasks within operationally challenging environments, with the ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
- Valid Driver's License
- Degree/associate degree in Technical Field or Gas Turbine Systems
- Experience maintaining, dismantling, and installing machinery and industrial service equipment including various pumps, motors, fans, generators, and turbines
- Ability to disassemble and reassemble complex rotating equipment – Bolting, Hydraulic Bolting, Flange Management, Small Bore Piping, Basic Rigging/Lifting, O/H Crane Operator
- Manage time-sensitive tasks and maintain a schedule within operationally challenging environments
- A strong ownership and work ethic
- A desire to learn and problem solve
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers
Desired Qualifications
- A formal education in Technical Field or Gas Turbine Systems is good to have
