Job Summary
Lead improvement efforts for equipment reliability, process controls, and ergonomic solutions while owning execution of capital investments on schedule and within budget. Manage projects and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metrics, driving culture change through 5S solutions and partnering with outside vendors to reduce consumable costs. Develop machine, fixture, and tooling strategies for new product introduction, and create work instructions and shop floor routings to support operator training and process control. Provide technical leadership for machinist training, maintain unit-specific shop floor drawings and Bill of Materials, and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality. Work cross-functionally to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within the Turbine Assembly area at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing
- 2 years of manufacturing experience
- This position is 100% onsite at our GE Vernova Greenville, SC - Garlington site
- Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable)

- CAD and Model Based Engineering Definition experience
- Engineering experience a plus
