Job Summary
Prepare belt tunnels for cargo discharge and monitor moving parts during self-unloading operations on a 46,191 GT bulk carrier. Maintain non-electrical machinery including conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, hydraulic systems, and gearboxes while assisting the Head Tunnelman and reporting to the Chief Engineer. Ensure cleanliness and safety in tunnel areas, follow environmental procedures, and adhere to safe working practices. Joining date is 20 August 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with non-electrical self-unloading machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of conveyor belts
- Knowledge of belt tunnels
- Knowledge of rollers
