Tuning and Repair Technician | Full Time Seasonal

Job Summary
Greet customers entering the ski shop and provide information on available skiing and snowboarding equipment and supplies. Tune and repair skis and snowboards, including binding calibrations, testing, certifications, mounting, and waxing. Complete, track, and file necessary paperwork while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the shop area. Cross-train in all Retail Shop positions and protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Loon Mountain Resort guests by reporting hazards and accidents immediately. Operate equipment safely and drive in accordance with Loon Mountain Resort policies. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to multitask in a busy retail environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience in hard and soft goods
- Outdoor retail experience
- boot fitting knowledge
