Job Summary
Support the management team and model exceptional customer service on the sales floor, ensuring the right course materials are available in the right quantities. Greet customers, assist with locating rental or purchase options, and use department technology to answer questions and recommend products. Maintain an appealing sales floor by tagging, shelving, arranging, and cleaning, while helping resolve customer issues and escalating to a manager when necessary. Assist with processing sales transactions and provide daily direction to team members in your absence. Work varying or set schedules year-round as a part-time role with fewer than 30 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Basic reading, writing and accounting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a retail setting
- High school diploma/GED
- Outstanding customer service skills to match customers to products that meet their needs
