Job Summary
Contact blood donors by telephone using a dialer system to recruit for blood drives and schedule appointments while providing positive service experience. Use information from multiple computer systems simultaneously to target appropriate blood drives, update donor records, and record call outcomes. Follow established scripting and processes to ensure a consistent donor experience and maintain daily production standards for calls and appointments per hour. Develop knowledge of donor criteria to inform eligibility and reduce deferral rates, while maintaining accurate records to ensure sufficient donor availability. Respond to or transfer inbound calls and may coordinate support for community and business donor groups. This role requires a commitment to one of two full-time schedules with a 90-day employment commitment and is based in the Tucson, AZ area.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to commit to 90 days of uninterrupted employment
- Must be able to commit to one of the schedules referenced above
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year of related experience (telemarketing, customer service or call center)
- Proficient in using multiple computer applications simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- The ability to work with potentially difficult customers
- Work in a fast-paced call center environment
- Must be able to commit to 100% attendance
- Must live in or near the Tucson, AZ area
- Must be eligible for rehire (if prior employee or contractor)
