Job Summary
Manage the day-to-day operation of the tuckshop at St Mary’s Catholic College, including opening/setting up, food preparation, menu planning to support health programs, stock control (ordering, receiving, storing, stocktakes), storage and inventory, and coordinating cleaning to maintain high standards of food hygiene. Supervise and support volunteers and staff in the tuckshop and storage areas; assist with events and catering for school functions; ensure adherence to Food Safety Program requirements (temperatures, monitoring/recording) and implement health, hygiene, and safety practices. Require proven skills in menu development for health-focused programs, food preparation techniques, stock management, and workplace safety; experience in supervising a food-service team and coordinating event setups. Eligibility to work in Australia and a Blue Card are required prior to commencement.
