Job Summary
Manage check-outs, inventory, and store operations at the Tuck Shoppe, including using the cash register, organizing merchandise, and fulfilling online orders. Provide friendly customer service, answer telephones, run errands, and prepare financial reports while maintaining a clean, stocked environment. Handle inventory receipt and occasional nights or weekends for special events. Utilize the point-of-sale system and social media to optimize store presence.
Required Qualifications
- Punctual and attentive to detail
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and positive manner
- Ability to reliably complete tasks with little supervision
- Proven ability to perform multiple tasks at once
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to climb a step ladder
- Available occasional nights and weekends for special events
- Dress professionally and appropriately for your job
- Make suggestions when appropriate
- Communicate openly and honestly
- Resume skills development (NACE Competencies required by employers) to be developed
