Job Summary
Supervise and operate afternoon Tube Park and surface lift operations as directed by managers, ensuring safety standards remain at the highest level. Give clear direction to staff, follow up on necessary tasks, and present yourself in top image and appearance standards daily. Adhere strictly to established safety and inspection procedures, including start-ups, lane checks, loading clearances, ramp unloads, maze tubing lane maintenance, log sheets, and shutdowns. Handle loads up to 20 kg in an outdoor setting with possible extreme cold. This role supports Lift Operations Supervisors during the winter season at Sun Peaks Resort, Canada's second-largest ski area.
Required Qualifications
- at least one year of experience running chair lifts and supervising others
- Valid BC class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
- This job position requires physical presence at the designated location
- work activities involve handling loads up to 20 kg
- predominantly in an outdoor setting (possible extreme cold)
