Job Summary
Tube Shaft Assembler responsible for assembling and/or fitting pole shaft halves into complete units, operating an overhead crane safely, following standard procedures, and maintaining tools and equipment. Position requires working under limited supervision to assemble large units, meet production deadlines, uphold safety practices, and participate in department safety programs; candidate should have hands-on experience with hand/power tools, an emphasis on safety, and a proven track record of timely, accurate production.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of overhead crane experience
- One year of experience operating hand and/or power tools
- One year of experience in an assembly position
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
