Job Summary
Traffic Management Designer responsible for the detailed design and submission of Traffic Management Plans, ensuring the successful completion of projects and contract works. This role involves designing traffic controls tailored to specific worksites, assessing risks to workers and the public, and developing effective controls to maintain safety and efficiency for all parties involved. Day to day you will also be producing Traffic Management Plans for internal teams and clients, managing the Service Request system for quality and accuracy, aligning traffic management planning with forward workload, and contributing to project/contract methodology, budgets and programmes for maintenance contracts and projects. You will supervise and coordinate with multiple teams across a multi-discipline business. Key skills include experience with traffic management and planning, proficiency with Rapid Plan/Rapid Path/AutoCAD, TTMP Planning Warrant, self-motivation, and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with traffic management and prior planning background
- Proficient with Traffic Management Design software (Rapid Plan, Rapid Path, AutoCAD)
- TTMP Planning Warrant (or equivalent unit standards)
- Self-motivated, driven to deliver excellent results, willing and wanting to continually learn
