Job Summary
Operate a fork-lift, finish saw, and banding equipment to handle, pack, and fabricate TSLOTS parts while verifying measurements against shop orders. Visually inspect components for surface defects, measure part lengths, and record data on paperwork or in EPICS. Maintain a clean and safe work area, wear required PPE, and perform all necessary quality and equipment checks. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding safety concerns or equipment issues. Work an 8-hour day from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with mandatory overtime on off days as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary
- Must be able to read and understand shop orders
- Must be able to read and understand tape measures
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to use banding equipment, air nail gun, and radial arm wood saw
- Must be able to read and understand Bonnell shop orders
- Must be able to understand decimals, fractions, and tolerances
- Must be able to use various quality gauges
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
Desired Qualifications
- Grizzly Mill or TM2 experience a plus
