Job Summary
TSLOTS New Products Administrator provides hands-on technical and administrative support in development, testing, and management of a portfolio of T-slotted aluminum extrusion products and systems. Responsibilities include testing samples for fit, function, and compliance; creating designs for components and profiles; performing quality checks; maintaining ISO documentation; conducting market and competitive research; preparing engineering documentation (prints/models); controlling specifications and tolerances; supporting cost analyses to identify efficiencies; providing multi-plant support for vendor alignment; creating part numbers and supporting product rollouts; assisting in training TSLOTS staff on new products; and contributing to quality-control initiatives addressing customer-reported issues with profiles and components with corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree expected or preferred
- Familiarity with TSLOTS product line or comparable products
- Basic CAD proficiency
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- strong organizational skills
- attention to detail
- experience with ISO documentation and engineering records
- ability to create part numbers and support multi-plant rollouts
- support for cost analysis and process improvements
- training capability for team members on new products
