TS/SCI - Devops/ Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Lead systems administration and DevOps activities supporting the Cloud Automation Advancements Team to build and deliver analytics, exploitation, and production systems using web, remote desktop, and cloud technologies. Stand up and maintain Windows Servers in cloud environments while deploying custom code, COTS, and GOTS. Manage CI/CD pipelines, GitLab functionality, and Docker containers using AWS services including CloudFormation, S3, ECS, and EKS. Develop and maintain web applications with Python and RedHat OpenShift, ensuring adherence to DevSecOps methodologies and DoD 8570 compliance. Work hand-in-hand with technical and program management leadership to design system architecture and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues. Program core hours are 9am-3pm ET, with occasional evening or weekend work as required.
Required Qualifications
- active TS security clearance
- ability to obtain SCI post hire
- DoD 8570 compliance
- BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience; OR 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with cloud/Amazon Web services (AWS)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- System (hardware, software and networking) Design and Architecture
- Understanding of custom code development/reviews
- Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflow
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with GITLAB functionality, error codes and scripting
- Experience with RedHat OpenShift
- Experience developing webapps with Python
- Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills

- Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies
- Experience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS)
- Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (lambda, API gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)
- Experience with troubleshooting, configuring, and deploying docker containers
- Experience writing, maintaining, and describing architecture diagrams
- Team Collaboration tools and administration (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
- Microsoft and/or AWS certifications
