TS - Lead Instrumentation Engineer

Job Summary
Lead engineering and requisitioning documents for client approval while supervising detailed engineering specifications and calculations. Provide value engineering solutions to optimize material quantities and ensure contractual technical specifications are met by vendors. Manage project execution by assigning work to the team, advising the HOD on manpower needs, and mentoring junior personnel through on-the-job training and performance assessments. Liaise with procurement, planning, and external parties to ensure timely reporting and adherence to budget and quality objectives. Requires 18 years of instrument design experience and 10 years in a lead role, with immediate start.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, accredited by the Board of Engineers Malaysia or an approved equivalent
- at least 18 years of experience in instrument design engineering
- a minimum of 10 years of experience in a lead role
- Possess strong technical know-how and a good understanding of design codes and standards
Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) with the local board or an approved equivalent
