Job Summary
Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of heavy equipment to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, and rear view cameras are clean. Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and front-end loaders for transferring, spreading, covering, loading, and compacting waste or soil. Continuously monitor waste for unacceptable materials and equipment condition to minimize downtime, cleaning tracks or wheels as needed. Perform and document minor service on equipment while reporting complex mechanical issues to the Maintenance Shop. Complete Equipment Condition Reports and other required documentation, ensuring the shop is clean and stored at the end of each shift.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation
- One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA
