Job Summary
Assist attorneys with estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related legal instruments. Prepare and review legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with applicable laws; proofread and edit drafts meticulously. Support probate and trust administration processes by organizing court filings, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with clients and third parties. Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for estate planning or trust administration. Assist with document review, data entry, filing, and maintaining organized case files in a timely manner. Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence related to trust & estate matters. Collaborate with team members on litigation cases involving estate disputes or trust challenges when required. Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Trusts & Estates Paralegal experience; Paralegal Certification desirable. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while working independently on multiple matters. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook.
